No, and nobody credibly can. We build strong SEO foundations and follow current best practice so your website has the best possible chance to perform.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain, your content and your website belong to you. Websites built through this service are hosted with Launch North on our required Hosting and Care plan, so we look after the hosting, updates and technical side while the site is live with us.

What about hosting and ongoing support?

Launch North Hosting and Care is required for every website we build, because we look after the hosting, security and technical upkeep for you. The build is a one-off cost and Hosting and Care is a simple monthly cost: $49 per month on Launch, $69 per month on Growth and $99 per month on Business Pro. Custom projects are quoted with the project. Extra services such as SEO campaigns, content, growth work, Google Ads and additional development are optional and separate, unless your package already includes them.

Do I have to manage plugins, updates or security?

No. There is nothing technical for you to maintain. No plugin updates, no theme updates, no plugin conflicts and no security patching. Launch North looks after the hosting, SSL, monitoring, backups and technical upkeep as part of Hosting and Care. You run your business and we look after the website.

Is this like having a WordPress site?

It is simpler for you to live with. A traditional WordPress site usually relies on a theme and a stack of plugins that all need updating, and those updates can conflict with each other. Your Launch North website has far fewer moving parts for you to manage, and the parts that do need attention are handled by us.

What does the monthly Hosting and Care fee cover?

Secure, fast hosting for your website, along with the platform updates, monitoring and technical maintenance that keep it running properly. It also keeps your website admin working so you can update your content whenever you like.

Can I move the website somewhere else or cancel Hosting and Care?

Accepted Answer

Your domain and content are always yours and we will never hold them. Because these websites are built and managed on our platform, Hosting and Care is part of running the site through this service, so it cannot be removed while the website stays with us. If you ever decide to move on, talk to us and we will help you take your domain and content with you.

Are there any other ongoing fees?

Only the ones you choose. Hosting and Care is the required monthly cost. Anything else, such as SEO campaigns, ongoing content, growth work, Google Ads or extra development, is optional and quoted clearly before it starts. Your domain renewal is paid to your domain provider as usual.

What is the Website Chatbot?

It is a friendly chat window on your website that answers the questions your customers ask most, helps them find the right service or information, and takes their details as an enquiry when they are ready to talk to you. It works alongside your normal contact forms rather than replacing them.

Is the Website Chatbot included in my package?

Accepted Answer

No, it is an optional add-on and it is not included in Launch, Growth or Business Pro. You can add it to any package for $79 per month, on top of your Hosting and Care fee. For example, Growth is $1,000 once-off plus $148 per month in total, being $69 Hosting and Care and $79 Website Chatbot.

Do I have to choose the chatbot straight away?

Not at all. Choosing it does not change which website package suits you, and it will not push you into a bigger package. You can add it during your brief or ask us to add it later.
